Neutral

As dictated by Faranza Syns

I want to be unmoved,
Unattached,
Uncaring,
Neutral.

I want to be happy in my own lonesome,
To laugh with sincerity,
To not feel disappointment's bitter bite.

I want to live through the moments,
not for the moments - waiting, naive,
Holding my breath.

I want my life back.
And you are not needed,
Uninvited,
Unwanted.

Leave.

Admiration Unbound

As dictated by Faranza Syns

Midnight's Prose
by Faranza Syns.

...He is too brilliant.
Like the moon, I feel
thusly eclipsed.

His eloquence, his silent energy,
Seemingly reined, bursts free at the touch,
His fingers weave magick like a sorcerer's fiddle, untamed,
Unpolished, wild with crackling power,
But soundless at its climactic precipice.

He is too brilliant.
Like Midnight I am
thusly eclipsed.

And my heart holds no objections. Let his shadow be cast upon me,
That I may rest in his shade,
Resigned, inspired, and
thusly eclipsed.

Pain's Physicality

As dictated by Faranza Syns

Surrender
by Faranza Syns

Pain ravaged his heart,
with teeth of savage spite,
crushing it with love's gleeful bite, his body crippled, unwilling to fight.

While the Emotion is Still Raw

As dictated by Faranza Syns

Souls Painted Red.
by Faranza Syns

She knocked on your windowpane,
Just to see if you were doing okay,
Just to see if you were in pain,
Unafraid, she'd asked away,
She shouldn't have done that.

Because, you see,
You are doing fine,
There's no shattered glass in your eyes,
No exhausted shadows smeared,
Under your clear eyes so dear.

And she sees
Her guilt, convincingly staged,
On a battlefield laid to waste,
Had no right to be,
No claim to exist,
Just overblown excuses - emotions wrongfully played,
A sole prisoner in this torn war she'd waged.

Apologies aside,
She shouldn't have come knocking,
To see a glimpse of tear-stained grief;
Because all she now sees, is guiltless peace,
The silence calm of a sneering masterpiece,
A Mona Lisa smile that jeeringly leaves
The other suspended in no reprieve.

Fresh wounds paint her battered soul red,
She stood out there as the white cotton bled,
Seeing that hateful smile you are sporting,
In her mind, "I shouldn't have come knocking."

We Can Love It.

As dictated by Faranza Syns

So what if you seem hot?

My brother is hotter.
Disillusionment has never felt so good before.
For once, I skipped "Over You" in my MP3, and moved on to "Like Me".
For once, I realised you're not all you're cracked up to be.
For once, life has regained its lustre.
For once, I feel worthy of myself. And, it's true.
I am over you.

Oh damn, that bloody rhymes!

Haiku? I do poetry.
Haikus aren't my thing, unless they are in Nihon, desu.

When the Shoe Fits, and You Agonise Over It

As dictated by Faranza Syns

Obsession: gone.

I... surprisingly do not feel emotional. Just a tad bit... wistful, that things did not turn out as how I've planned. It's a scary feeling. Being so high at one moment. Then there, just around the bend is the sharp drop that makes you catch your breath against the pain.

No one would understand. Different circumstances. Different aches. Different pains.

There's no point in hoping. No point in expecting. No point in building castles, in the sky or on firm, solid ground, because they'll crumble. No matter where they're built.

Not about to lament. Not about to bemoan my life. Just wondering, when the lucky break will knock on my door, smiling, saying it's all going to be fine from then on.

A bit cold. A little lost. Can't find the words. Want to continue. Pointless.

Dry, plain dry. Thinking things to death. Staring at walls, face within hands.

Suffocated. Imprisoned. Can't breathe. A little cold. A bitter numbness.

The puzzle won't be solved this way. Just sitting here all day. Wondering.

God,I wish I hadn't wasted too much time on things that just weren't worth it. Things that you're never sure you'll get.

Pointless. Pointless. Pointless.

And here come the tears.

And again, and again.

Let there be tears.

The chance is gone, you stupid ho.

My Fool, My Boo

As dictated by Faranza Syns

Those times when you stare,
And see nothing inside,
Perfection is bland,
You'll have nowhere to hide,
Should've fathomed fast,
What I feel inside,
Should've cradled close,
The feelings I hide.

That little mirror on the wall,
It lies in the dark,
No reflection, no light,
You leave no mark
Like little, little footsteps,
inch-deep in the snow,
You're vile, unwanted,
Your presence,
Best unknown.

So, hurry, go ahead,
Step out of my life,
You mean little to me,
You're nothing but strife,
Come the next, I'll be prepared,
You're not the first,
You're not the last.

Just know this, my fool,
You were never my boo.

Author's Note (A/N): You hurt me.

I'll be brave soon, I promise you.

You'd have killed me with your confusing puzzles,
I'd have killed you with the words I feel in my chest.
